ESITS TDS Technician (Purple)
LEVEL :
Intermediate
THE TRAINING COURSE :
The Tent Technician (TT) course and accreditation can be applied for if the applicant holds a valid ESITS GECO qualification, or if the Guild deems that the applicant can evidence that they are at this level. This course provides greater knowledge and understanding to experienced operators.
COURSE CONTENT :
• Equipment preparation
• RAMS Documentation
• Marking out / Structural Plans
• Anchors / Counterweights
• Installation & working efficiencies
• Working / operating at height
• Dismantling / Packing
• Working with / building around 3rd party contractors
• Basic structural and membrane engineering principles
• General Knowledge on the specific Tentage relevant to that course
ASSESSMENT :
The Tent Technician Assessment takes the form of a practical assessment and a separate multiple-choice written assessment.
TIME ALLOWANCE :
1x day course.
TRAINING LOCATION :
These courses can be completed on site, at an ESITS training centre or at a Guild Member’s premises.
COURSE FEE :
Course fee to be confirmed.
Course fee includes all training content, accreditation certificate and one year membership to the Guild of TentMasters.
Course fees do not include travel, subsistence or venue costs if you wish to choose your own venue.
